🚛 Trucker Traci Talks Truth: Did You Know You Gotta Park in the Green? 🚛

Hey hey, my highway heroes! It’s your girl Trucker Traci, coming in hot with a little PSA that might just save your rig, your money, your time, and your sanity.  Let me hit you with this one real clear:

💥 You MUST park in the GREEN area. Yep. The GREEN.💥

Now before you go scanning the lot looking for something spray-painted like a football field — hold up. That’s not what we mean. 👉 The green area we’re talking about is the section highlighted in your reservation photo. It’s not roped off. It’s not color-coded on the ground. There’s no giant blinking neon arrow that says “PARK HERE.”  That green is only visible in the listing picture and on the picture on your reservation confirmation.

So don’t eyeball it. Trust the map. Match landmarks. Park only in that designated green zone from your booking confirmation.

Now let’s talk risks — and honey, there are a few… You park outside the green area and you’re gambling with your time, your money and your peace.

🚫 You could get towed and you will be responsible to pay for it.
🚫 You could block another driver and spark a real parking lot standoff.
🚫 You could be asked to move during your break, and there goes your precious HOS reset.
🚫 You could violate property rules and get banned from that location — or worse, from the Club altogether for continuous violations.

What can you do to stay golden?
Always check the reservation photo for the green zone.
Match it to where you’re parking — not where it’s convenient.
Still unsure? Give us a ring. That’s why Customer Care is 24/7/365.

You work too hard to get caught up in something silly like a bad parking spot.  So here’s the golden rule: 🟢 If it ain’t green, it ain’t for your machine.

💋Until next time —  Keep it smart, keep it legal, and keep it in the green.

Property Member of the Week

Jake S - Council Bluffs, IA

Jake from Council Bluffs, IA runs Nebraska Commercial Equipment, a commercial truck and trailer dealership he started six years ago. The business grew out of his towing company - he was buying and selling trucks to get more equipment for his towing operation, and it eventually turned into its own thing.

While he still had the towing company, Jake bought property from a trucking company to store the equipment he was picking up. After selling the towing company, he kept using that property for his dealership. He had extra space and had thought about doing truck parking before, but didn't want to deal with the hassle of managing it himself.

Then a friend told him about Truck Parking Club. Jake signed up and went live in early June. It's been working out great so far. "As easy as a day is long," he says about the experience.

Jake's story is a good example of how property owners can put their extra space to work without much hassle. His location in Council Bluffs gives truck drivers a place to park while adding some extra income to his business.

Thanks to Jake for being a Property Member and making truck parking "as easy as a day is long" for our Trucker Members!
