Cabover Update

We’ve mad significant progress on our 1978 International cabover resto this week.

Here’s what we’ve gotten done:

• Fixed seals on the transmission

• Removed all things attached to the cab

• Powerwashed the entire truck/frame

• Scraped excess grime/grease from entire frame/fifth wheel

We’ve also received the wheels and tires and will be getting those taken care of this weekend!

The big picture: Heavy snow lingers around the Great Lakes and Interior Northeast, with another clipper system bringing more this weekend. High winds (40-65 mph gusts) are the big concern on the High Plains today and Friday. If you're running empty, take it seriously.

💨 High Winds: High Plains (Today and Friday) Gusts of 40-65 mph from the Rockies through the High Plains. Dangerous for high-profile vehicles. If you're light or empty, consider parking until it passes.

🌨️ Heavy Snow: Great Lakes and Interior Northeast (Today) Winter Storm Warnings and Lake Effect Snow Warnings still in effect. Another 6-8 inches possible. Snow tapers by this afternoon as the front exits. NY conditions → | PA conditions →

❄️ Clipper System Incoming (Friday into Saturday) Snow showers spreading across the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes today, then heavy lake-enhanced snow tomorrow, especially along the northern UP and western LP of Michigan. Light mixed precipitation spreads into the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Saturday. MI conditions → | WI conditions →

🥶 Cold in the East Highs in the 20s-30s from the Great Lakes to the Northeast. Freeze Warnings extend into northern and central Florida. More polar air arrives late Friday.

🌡️ Warm in the West 60s-70s in California, 70s-80s in the Desert Southwest. Enjoy it if you're out there.
