Property Member of the Week

When Marisa and her family bought their property in Goodyear, the plan was simple: build a home. They did just that, but the back portion of the land sat unused while semi-trucks lined up along the street outside - sometimes 15 at a time, blocking their driveway and making it impossible to see when pulling out.

Living across from an Amazon warehouse in a county island meant heavy truck traffic and limited enforcement. After calling the sheriff one day with no response, Marisa had a lightbulb moment: instead of fighting the problem, why not offer a solution?

She first tried another truck parking site about a month before finding us, but quickly discovered most inquiries were scams or bogus leads. Then Facebook's algorithm did its thing, and she came across Truck Parking Club's map of locations. "It looked really promising," she remembers. "I could see the reviews, the feedback - it looked legit."

Since joining in July 2024, Marisa's lot has become a go-to spot for truckers passing through the area. What started slow has turned into consistent traffic, with mostly repeat customers who know exactly where to park. She's working on improvements: lighting, plant control, and potentially adding 2-3 more spaces to the current ten.

The street parking hasn't disappeared entirely (truckers still line up on weekends), but it's no longer the frustration it once was. And Marisa's thrilled with how smooth everything has been, especially the customer service support whenever she needs it.
